Description

This Organic English Breakfast is a classic blend of rich Indian teas. It boasts a bold flavor that holds up well to milk.

A note from the Founder/CEO: When I first started working on Paisley English Breakfast, I gave myself a difficult mission: This bag has to be as good or better than the best English tea bags but it has to be Organic and Fair Trade. This is more difficult than you might imagine. Organic tea is less than 1% of the world’s production. Quality organic tea is a small fraction of this. And all the very best tea gardens don’t need to be Organic Certified - they sell all their tea at a high price just as it is. After more than a year of work, we arrived at a tea that more than rivals the best of the English.

Contains 20 individually wrapped paper tea bags. Boxes are compostable or recyclable. The filter paper of the tea bag is made with a wood pulp that has gone through a chlorine-free bleaching process, and its biodegradability is ranked as excellent. Without a staple on our tea bags, you can toss the entire thing — bag, string, tag and all — straight into the compost. The only thing you cannot toss in your compost bin are the paper envelopes, which are coated with a polyethylene sealant on the inside. We do this to keep our high quality tea as fresh as we can, because superior taste makes our tea worth drinking.

short-description:
You’ll know right away why we call this tea “A Proper Cuppa’.” It's a classic for every morning (or afternoon). Traditional? Yes, but doilies or fancy teapot not required. Approachable? Perhaps more than any English Breakfast you’ve ever had.

staff-pick-description:
Paisley English Breakfast is my first-thing-in-the-morning tea. It is stronger and darker that the Two Leaves whole leaf Assam Breakfast and brews up super-fast. If you are “Builders Tea” kind of tea drinker, you will love this tea - try two bags in
brewing-tip-1:
Take these with you when you travel as it will still brew a good cuppa' in that not-so-hot water they give you on the airplane.
brewing-tip-2:
Enjoy it plain or smooth it out with milk and a sweetener.
brewing-tip-3:
Use this tea to make a Whiskey Hot Tea Toddy!
brewing-tip-4:
This will make a nice iced tea; or add lemonade for an Arnold Palmer.

Simply the best and smoothest English Breakfast Tea I have ever had. I have been drinking teas a long time and this one makes top scores for goodness.

          Great cuppa

I have tried many different brands to replace my beloved non-organic irish tea brand as I want to only drink organic tea. When I found this brand it was the closest and best in taste. Please don't stop making it! The blend is perfection, thank you!

          Taste like dust powder

Two leaves has a very good collection, but this is the worst tea I have tried. The taste has notes of saw dust and calk powder. I threw away the box.
